Meg and Clif from Texas planned a destination wedding to remember at Callaway Winery in Temecula,Ca! We were so thrilled to not only meet the couple but be apart of their special day. When planning a destination wedding, it can be hard to create specific images for people via email or phone, but we try our best to really understand the personality and vision each couple, first then custom create to their needs.

If you can imagine the feeling of a blind date you can somewhat imagine the feeling it is to deliver a wedding to a bride, groom and family you have never seen before. However, when we delivered Meg's bouquet we were so incredibly stunned by her beauty..she was radiant, and being that she was the bride, it was only fitting!

We will never forget how excited we were to hear that Meg loved her bouquet and it was exactly as she pictured. Filled with variations of Roses, Calla Lilies, and cascading Phalaenopsis Orchids. The grooms boutonniere, we always feel should have some relation to the bride so he too had a Phalaenopsis Orchid. The Cellar Room at Callaway Winery was filled with accents of black and white with Trumpet Spray arrangements in white as centerpieces, filled with white hydrangea and white dendrobium orchids.

Katie was the very first bride to meet with us when we moved into our new space last year! She came in with her Mom to go through her wedding flowers and decor and we were immediately excited about her wedding! Not only are they a stunning couple, but both are teachers...<3! On top of it all, their wedding was planned for a couple weeks before Christmas. We love themes, and themed decor and floral designs and with all of the ideas and colors Christmas brings to the table we had a ball. Katie's bouquet was created with collection of white Roses, and Cymbidium Orchids, embellished with gold texture and crystal snowflakes. Her bridesmaids bouquets consisted of red Roses and green berries with silver texture and crystal embellishments.

Yes (you read right) yesterday : March 19th, 2011 and today we were already able to sneak peek view their INCREDIBLE wedding trailer (preview) from Kelly at 618 Studios! Not only is 618 Studios fresh, talented and super friendly, but they are passionate about what they do! And so are we!! We love meeting new vendors and seeing their amazing work come to life. Sometimes on a gloomy Sunday afternoon after working all week, you need a little "pick me up" hence, I find myself watching sappy movies, home makeover shows, reality wedding shows etc. So imagine how we feel watching our real life bride and groom! Tearful, to say the least. We are so happy that we get to be part of so many wedding love stories and so happy we get to work with wonderful, passionate vendors. An orange dream! Gina's choices of fall colors not only warmed her intimate wedding but complimented her vintage style and natural elegance. This stunning couple is one to remember for years to come. Their beautiful wedding day at Ponte Family Estate Winery was quickly converted from their outside terrace and arbor ceremony location to the indoor barrel room, because of gorgeous rainfall (and let's not forget Goodluck!) . Our team worked diligently to make sure that Gina and Tony's wedding was a candlelight dream! We quickly determined that their sunny side turned rainy day wedding, shouldn't sacrifice style, elegance or the intimate warm feel a fireplace brings to any home or location. So what did we do? We headed back to our headquarters, called the calvary and loaded vases and candles of all sizes to surprise our beautiful bride and groom! Who doesn't love surprises?

Their Awe-Inspiring Cake was made by Debbie McLaughlin of Cakes-To-Celebrate. This award-winning cake designer had us ahh-ing and ooh-ing at her impeccable detail and amazing "wood-like" designs!

|Look A Little Closer| Though there aren't very many pictures of the ceiling in their reception, here's something unique about Gina and Tony's Wedding in the Ponte Reception room: there are rose Pomander Balls hanging from the Chandeliers, next to the fireplace, and placed throughout areas at the reception! Designs from the ceremony whimsically tied in at the reception that guests were not expecting.

(Not so much fun to hang, but such a blast to look at =)

It was a beautiful summer day in CA when L+ T tied the knot at Canyon Crest Country Club Golf Course in Riverside, Ca! We could not have been more thrilled with the bright, beautiful colors chosen and the fun, whimsical design of Pomander Balls, Petals, Daisies, Mums and more that adorned the isle! The bridal bouquet was filled with Green Cymbidium Orchids, Pink and White Ranaculus and Roses! It's such a privilege to be apart of such special days!

Corsages & Boutonnieres for VMHS Fashion Show & Winter Ball!

We absolutely love being apart of the high school's in our community. We were asked if we could provide corsages and bout's for VMHS Fashion Show and Winter Ball! It was so much fun. We were able to custom create different fun designs and styles, and channeled the inner "girly girl" when designing for these bright colors and fashions!
We created a little video for fun with all of the pictures sent to us!

"Thank you so much for being a part of our fashion show! We couldn't have been happier with the flowers, they were beautiful. In the past, my school has found it to be so difficult to coordinate with florists; and when ordering flowers we have often recieved less then perfect flowers simply because we are a high school. This was not the case with your studio, it was so easy to work with you and each coordinating arrangement was so cute and creative. All of the models commented on how nice and attentive you were, and we couldn't have asked for more. Not surprisingly, the models and ASB took pictures and posted them all over facebook and in our classroom because everything looked so great. I've included some of the pictures as well. This "in retrospect" wedding inspiration board is to kick off the month of November, Thanksgiving and all that fall has to offer! Many times when posting we don't have the opportunity to post all of the pictures sent to us. These fabulous pictures from Gabrielle Fox Photography out of San Diego, California could not have captured these beautiful warm colors more brilliantly.

Wedding colors are one of the first decor decisions you make when beginning to plan your wedding, it helps determine the style, feel and overall theme of your decor. There are several ways to determine your colors:

1. Look at your personal style; likes and dislikes.
What colors do you normally wear?What are your favorite colors? Are there any nostalgic items you would like to incorporate into your event? Can you draw any inspiration from these items?

2. Recognize what catches your eye in the fashion of your event.

Is your dress filled with pearls? Extensive lace, tulle, or detailed crystal embellishments? Have you been drawn to the idea of color added to your dress? Would you like to pull inspiration from ancient traditions or culture? These are all ways to determine the colors you would like to see at your event.

3. Don't be afraid to mix and match.

Love two bold colors, but your not sure if they fit together? Search blogs, popular websites and get inspiration, more than likely your not the first person to love that combo! You can mix and match unlikely colors, talk to your planner, designer, friends and keep your eye open with an idea or theme that might tie it all together!

Have no idea where to begin, when picking out colors for your event? Here's a tip: Go to your local hardware store paint section! They have color wheels, combos and families of colors that just might help you get started!

Cheyanne + Drake: California Beach Wedding | Breakers Beach Coronado Wedding

The ultimate beach style wedding with Cheyanne and Drake was shot by David of www.DavidChampagnePhotography.com a San Diego Wedding Photographer and turned out absolutely beautiful. It was ultra clean, casual and hit the epitome of California style. We were thrilled to be apart of Cheyanne and Drakes special day that started at the Gaslamp San Diego Marriott and progressed to the ceremony and reception at Breakers Beach in Coronado a Naval Air Station on the North Island in Coronado on the same beach as the famous Hotel Del Coronado..

Cheyanne's style was elegant and stunning, and her custom made white china mum bouquet, filled with roses and crystals was hand wrapped in hot pink satin and had navy pearl beads attached. The bridesmaids bouquets were hand wrapped in hot pink satin and filled with pink gerbera daisies hot pink roses and accented with green hypericum berries. Their navy blue dresses were a perfect color match with their bouquets and the hot pink created such a beautiful accent to the navy.

The men dressed in casual cool khaki, white dress shirts and tan sandals were complimented with hot pink rose boutonnière's accented with green hypericum berries and wrapped in the matching hot pink satin. The grooms boutonnière matched his beautiful bride with a white rose, wrapped in hot pink satin.

[Designer Tip: When planning florals for a casual chic wedding, choose colors that pop and stand out, it brings a unique and bright feel to any decor. Also, when designing your bouquet with your florist/designer ask them specify the size of each bouquet for you.]

Have you heard of the Queen Mary in Downtown Long Beach, California? We didn't know what to expect heading out to deliver and set up flowers for our wonderful bride. Boy were we surprised! Queen Mary is a historic landmark in California, a cruise ship restored into a hotel and permanently docked off Long Beach. The history on the Queen Mary is truly remarkable, and is related in time to the Titanic! However, this original cruise ship was used during the war from 1940-1946 and "carried a total of 765,429 military personnel. Sailed a total of 569,429 miles. Carried up to 15,000 troops at one time. Carried wounded returning to the United States. Transported Winston Churchill three times to conferences. Carried 12,886 G.I. brides and children.

The Queen Mary now hosts weddings and events and is used year round as a full service hotel and attraction.What an interesting venue to have a wedding!

This Bride and Groom [Ashley and Steve] were such a wonderful couple to work with and had a beautiful theme to their wedding. With white hydrangeas, calla lilies, and curly willow and a special request for chocolate cosmos, the beautiful background to their ceremony and Veranda Grill for their reception this wedding was a chocolate beach dream! The wedding was absolutely such a pleasure to be apart of and we as a florist could not have asked for a fun and vibrant bridal party!

This retrospect inspiration board is based around a wedding, we at, Temecula Floral Studio had a great privilege in designing. It took place at Lake Oak Meadows a great outdoor venue in Temecula, California. We were so inspired by this couple, their style, and their theme. The wedding was enveloped in orchids - of all different origins, shapes, colors and textures. This California couple truly encompassed the organic design we were going for at this wedding.

The natural vibe and colors complimented the bride's [Christine] dress and personal style. Her bouquet was free formed and matched her grooms boutonnière, and had elements of the entire wedding included.

A brides bouquet, we believe is truly one of the stand out elements in a wedding, uniquely designed around the bride and her theme, it is an outward expression of her personality on her big day. [We always recommend, that even if you have constrictions in your decor/florist budget for your wedding day; it is well worth the cost to have a professional design you and your bridal parties flowers. We recommend this, because almost all of your pictures will be based around you, your bridal party and family, and for this reason, you want your personal flowers to be a beautiful feature alongside of you. ]

The Wedding
It is always so much fun to get creative, think out of the box, and discover new looks and decor for weddings. It is hard to believe that Lake Oak Meadows, is situated in heart of Temecula Valley Wine Country. With the lake, gardens, fire rings and horse and carriage this picturesque wedding venue provides a beautiful canvas for decor and flowers! This couple [Nalanea and Javier] are just too adorable for words, with a gorgeous vision, perfect weather and no detail overlooked; this calla lily, orchid and hydrangea inspired wedding turned into a stunning background for this beautiful couple.

The Details

At Temecula Floral Studio, we believe that a brides bouquet should be a direct reflection of her personal style with incorporated elements from the the overall theme of the wedding. [When you're looking for a florist it is so important to find one that fits your personality, understands who you are and the theme/feel you are trying to achieve with your wedding.]

Nalanea knew what style, colors and the 'look' she wanted for her bouquet to compliment her stunning gown and beauty. With white calla lilies to match her bridesmaids, mini calla lilies with purple centers to match her finance- soon to be husbands boutonnière, and orchids of all different origins, this bride's bouquet was a staple on the entire design!

17 Centerpieces of sprayed orchids and rose/hydrangea topiary balls on trumpet vases the variety was an amazing site to see at the reception. At the end of the isle, the arch piece atop the vintage iron arch, was filled with a variety of purple roses, tea leaves and greenery. When guests arrived they were greeted by a Manzanita tree at the sign in table and gift table, the tree was filled with purple orchids, crystals and glass votives with floating candles. Instead of just scattering the rose petals, or lining the sides, we did a great circle swirl down the isle.. really helped fit the unique style of this wedding! Last but not least, the maid of honor had a special purple orchid added to her calla lily bouquet to match the bride, after the her hard work, why not make her feel extra special!

Lindsey and Caleb, were such a beautiful couple. It was so wonderful to be apart of their day!

They both came in from BYU Provo, after graduating to be married. They are such a sweet couple and we can say that we had such a great time doing flowers for them..

They were married at the San Diego LDS Temple, with their reception following later that evening at the Four Seasons Lodge in Temecula.

We have been apart of helping plan Amber and Sean's wedding since last year and to see them both on their special day so in love and joyful was wonderful! The most wonderful part of their wedding was seeing all of the growing families all participating in the celebration of this new marriage! One of our very first weddings, Melinda and Brandon were apart of the celebrations and now have a little beautiful family of their own. Congratulations Ashlee & Pablo! We have known Ashlee for years, so naturally we were so thrilled to be able to provide flowers for her very special day! Pablo and Ashlee have been planning their wedding for some time now, but because Pablo is in the military and on active duty, they encountered some scheduling issues. So on June 3rd they had an intimate wedding with their loved ones and TIED THE KNOT! Needless to say, next year, they will be renewing their vows on their anniversary with a big bash at Admiral Kidd in Point Loma and we are so excited! Jayme and Michael were an incredible couple that threw an incredible wedding! We are so excited to finally share pictures from their beautiful day and a little bit about our experience with them! First off, Jayme is such an amazing woman. She is sweet and filled with kindness and over the time of planning her wedding flowers with us, became as close as family to us :) We just adore and love her! We were only hoping that all of her hard work that went into planning her wedding would only pan out to the perfection she hoped for. This beautiful couple didn't spare any design idea when it came to their special day. White orchids filled their ceremony and reception, accented by crystals and candlelight. The reception details were not overlooked in Jayme's planning, she had orchids placed on each place card, pillars filled with sand and ivory candles sat atop of each belly bar and a crystal tree and speciality peice greeted each guest at the entrance. We could say so much about Jayme & Michael and their gorgeous wedding but their pictures tell their story than any words possible that we can come up with. All we know is how much we absoluetly adore this family and loved working with them!

Temecula Floral Studio was given the oppurtunity to travel to New Jersey for a very special wedding request over Christmas to do flowers for Cecelia and Ryan! Their wedding was filled with hydrangea, roses, hanging ameranthus and accents to compliment bouquets, boutonieres and more! We are very excited to finally post pictures from this special event. The couple was married on December 26th, 2009 at the Washington D.C. LDS Temple and their recpetion was held back at a New Jersey Resort. With beautiful seasonal colors we couldn't have celebrated our second to last wedding of the year any better! We are so happy we were able to be apart of their day! Please, feel free to have any new customers/clients call or email me for a personal recommendation, I could only speak the highest of you and your work. :)" "I was married at the Falkner Winery on September 25th of this year, and of course I waited until a handful of months before to get the ball rolling on many of my important TO-DO's...Flowers being the main DO! You can imagine my panic... being a girl who never really thought about flowers, and now trying to figure out how to incorporate them in my wedding, how much to pay for them, and heck... even what KIND of flowers I wanted! I was clueless. I came across an ad online for an up and coming floral designer out of Murietta. Alofa replied to my inquiry and from the get-go was friendly, informative and sounded very creative. She set up a meeting with me for the following weekend... and TOTALLY changed my mindset on flowers being a necessity in my wedding. What an eye opener to sit down with her for hours and talk blooms! The surprises didn't stop there. Putting my faith in Alofa without asking questions ended up turning out really well for me! She put together a beautiful arch piece with a pomander ball hanging from the center. Our isle had pomanders and tulle hung from the seats and was just breathtaking. After the ceremony, she re-used the pomanders for my centerpieces and they looked like little topiary plants. (People were fighting at the end of the night to get to take them home!!!) My photos turned out awesome with all the right floral touches, my family and friends all commented on how beautiful her arrangements were, and I am pretty sure the winery will be adding her to their preferred vendors list!All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better person to be working with me on the most important day of my life. Alofa was professional from start to finish, worked with my budget, and produced amazing work. On top of all that, she made a point to have a personal connection with me, to really make sure I knew that she would take care of me. And she did. I highly recommend her services, I dare you to find someone better or a sweeter person to work with!"
